I got the call for Ms. Braelyns arrival on a rainy saturday morning.
Braelyn is the first sweet babe for Adam and Adrianne so of course my thought was to relax, take a shower and enjoy my rainy saturday morning with breakfast and 'toons as always with my kiddos, while I wait.
I had just jumped into the shower when I heard my husband yell, "Babe! Amber (Adriannes sister) just texted you! She's at a 10 and she said HURRY!!"
Thank goodness I live less than 5 minutes from BOTH hospitals in our little town.
I made it there with less than 10 minutes to spare.
As always, capturing a birth is emotional, miraculous and humbling.
Im brought back to a place of peace. In those moments, nothing exists outside of this gorgeous new little life and her mother. There is truly nothing like seeing a mother bond with her babe in those first few moments.
I am so honored to have been able to capture these moments for Adam and Adrianne!
This is so beautiful but thank God nobody recorded my labor. I would have shot them. especially the cesarium
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that you do birth photography. Kudos to you. I'm sure it must be a lot of hard work, but so rewarding. Great photos.
